Baseball/Softball
Nov. 5: Applications are being accepted for players who are grades 8-12 who wish to compete in The Sports Barn?s Fall Indoor Hitting Leagues set to begin the week of Nov. 5. Players form their own team of three hitters per team and will compete against other teams in either varsity, JV or freshmen divisions depending on age and skill level. The leagues will compete Monday-Thursday 6 pm-8:30pm and teams may lock in their desired weekly 30-minute time slot on a first-come, first-serve basis. The leagues are 6 weeks in length plus playoffs and will conclude the week of Dec. 17. The cost per player is $70. Teams can register on line or print off a form and return it to The Sports Barn. Nov. 3-4: The Platinum Showcase will be held at Fort Edward High School to provide basketball players with exposure to college coaches. The boys event is Nov. 3 and the girls event is Nov. 4, both 10 am to 2 pm It?s open to players in grades 9 through 12. The cost is $75 per player.
